CAPITOLIO COYOACÁN, MEXICO CITY, 2012
This is a 16 story middle class apartment building located in one of the most ancient highways of the city´s history, The Tlalpan avenue.
With a limited lot, the developer wanted the most apartments per floor, so the challenge was to get the most of this tight limitation.
It has a 4 story lobby and further back, a light entrance void in the heart of the building giving a sense of space greatness.
The facade is a two color movement, the black seems to be the surface part and the white seems to be the inner part of the facade, the flesh.
This building highlights in the general perspective of the avenue which was the main goal to achieve.
